Lace and Lee is an indie-folk duo steeped in ‘60s and ‘70s storytelling, channeling their wit and bard-like prose into music that is genuinely their own: ethereal vocals and haunting harmonies set against sharp, evocative lyrics and acoustic-rock instrumentation. Since the start of 2025, they’ve built a catalog of songs that shift shape with each story — guitars, cellos, violins, mandolin, keyboards, drums, and piano moving in and out as the songs demand. Olivia Lee Ondrasik and Caroline Lace McPherson met studying musical theater at NYU TISCH and upon graduating from the New Studio on Broadway began writing togetherin 2024. Out of their shared fervor for songwriting and profound friendship, Lace and Lee was born.

The duo recorded their EP with Grammy-Award winning, multi-platinum selling music producer, songwriter, engineer and mixer Mikal Blue, best known for his work with OneRepublic, Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz and Alex Lebowitz (Macy Gray, Shawn Stockman, Extreme) at Revolver Recordings in Thousand Oaks, CA. They have opened for Grammy® nominated, platinum-selling artist, Five For Fighting (aka John Ondrasik) and his ever popular Five For Fighting String Quartet Tour throughout 2024 and 2025. In Summer 2025 they performed for Prodject, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and headlined at The Strand, Watertown NY. They can now be seen live at venues throughout Los Angeles, including Hotel Cafe, The Mint, and The White Harte Pub. They will join Five For Fighting String Quartet Tour again in 2026 into 2027.
